无码专区 Dedman School of Law alumni achieved a first-time bar passage rate of 98.52% on the July 2025 Texas Bar Exam, ranking the school first in the state among all law schools and marking the fourth straight year the school has improved its passage rate year over year.
Since 2022, Dedman Law’s first-time passage rate has increased 12 points from 86.59%.
“These outstanding results reflect the fact that Dedman Law admits incredibly bright students who work hard to prepare for the rigorous practice of law,” said Dean Jason Nance. “The results also reflect our dedicated, talented faculty and staff who skillfully teach and tirelessly support our remarkable students.”

According to , July’s results mark the first time in more than two decades where Texas law students taking the July bar exam for the first time earned a passage rate of more than 90%. When all first-time takers of the Texas bar are considered, the pass rate was 84.11%, giving Dedman Law a differential of 14.41% (or, the difference between Dedman Law's passage rate and the overall bar passage rate, which is heavily considered as part of the U.S. News & World Report Law School rankings process).
“Texas law school students taking the bar exam for the first time in July passed at a rate of 90.67% compared to 84.11% for first-time examinees overall. This year's pass rate for Texas law students bested last year's rate of 88.67%, according to statistics released Wednesday by the Texas Board of Law Examiners,” the article stated.
