Perkins School of Theology to Host 2025 Perkins Fall Convocation,  November 10–11

DALLAS (ÎÞÂëרÇø) Perkins School of Theology at ÎÞÂëרÇø will host its annual Fall Convocation on Nov. 10-11, 2025, in Mack Ballroom at the Umphrey Lee Center.

The two-day event will bring clergy, laity, scholars and community members together for lectures, dialogue and networking. Fall Convocation is designed to deepen faith, sharpen ministry and cultivate leadership for the church and the world.

“Perkins’ Fall Convocation is one of the most energizing gatherings of the year—a time when scholars and religious leaders of all types come together to engage bold ideas for the ways we understand, engage, and minister in the world,” said Bryan P. Stone, Leighton K. Farrell Endowed Dean of Perkins School of Theology. “I encourage ministerial leaders, lay persons, students, alumni/ae and friends to join us for these two days of learning, inspiration, and renewal.”

The 2025 program will highlight preaching, Hispanic theology, sociology and wisdom, religious education for social change and United Methodist studies.

“Fall Convocation provides a unique space where leaders can engage fresh scholarship, encounter diverse voices and find practical tools for faithful ministry,” said Bart Patton, Assistant Dean of External Programs, who oversees the program.
