Since its founding in 1993, the Corporate Counsel Symposium has become the premier program for in-house counsel in DFW. Held annually, the symposium brings together chief legal officers, general counsel, senior in-house attorneys, and law firm leaders to examine emerging issues affecting corporate legal departments. Offered by the Rowling Center and the ÎÞÂëרÇø Law Review, the symposium also serves as a forum for strengthening connections within the in-house legal community while providing law students with valuable opportunities to engage with experienced corporate counsel.

The Clark Hill Endowed Speaker in Business Law Series was created by Clark Hill’s predecessor firm, Strasburger & Price. The series brings distinguished leaders in business, law, government, and the judiciary to Dedman Law to address emerging issues at the intersection of law and business. Established to support lectures in business law, the program provides a forum for students, faculty, practitioners, and business leaders to engage with preeminent business law leaders and examine the legal and market forces shaping business and law.

Dedman Law and the Rowling Center are leading the conversation about the emergence of Texas and Dallas as the national hub for business activity. The Texas Open for Business Symposium Series convenes leading academics, practitioners, regulators, and business executives to examine the legal, regulatory, and market forces shaping the region's economic future. The symposium explores timely issues, including the Texas Business Court, Texas-based stock exchanges, securities law and regulation, Texas's growing competitiveness as a corporate chartering jurisdiction and business destination, and the evolving role of institutional and retail investors in corporate governance. By fostering informed, balanced dialogue on these issues, the symposium helps shape the future of business law in Dallas, across Texas, and beyond.

The Rowling Center, in partnership with the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank, hosts this marquee annual event, highlighting Dallas's role as a leading financial services center. The program explores major developments in banking and financial services law, fosters meaningful engagement among leaders in the business and legal communities, and gives students valuable opportunities to interact with senior practitioners and policymakers.
