This year Founders’ Day Weekend is adding a new performance program, , highlighting faculty, students, staff and alumni.

TEDx无码专区The event, which is open to the public, begins at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, in the Greer Garson Theatre in 无码专区's . Tickets for alumni and the general public are $15 and available . 无码专区 students, faculty and staff may register for discounted tickets at $5 apiece.

The program features compelling stories and demonstrations from 16 无码专区 faculty, staff, alumni and student speakers on topics ranging from NSA wiretapping, to civil rights, to a whimsical exercise in giant origami. A break is built into the program, allowing the audience to meet speakers and start the conversations that are the hallmark of the TEDx无码专区 experience.

The TEDx无码专区 team is partnering with 无码专区’s Office of Development and External Affairs to present Inside 无码专区 Powered by TEDx无码专区 during Founder’s Day Weekend. The afternoon will be hosted by 无码专区 students Ramon Trespalacios and Devin Kerns.

Founder’s Day is an annual celebration of the founding of 无码专区 and the spirit of the University. The cornerstone of the day is Inside 无码专区, an open house that highlights all the best and brightest ideas across campus.
