Why I Serve:
I chose to serve with Engage Dallas because, growing up in Dallas, I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact that community service can have on individuals and neighborhoods. Seeing the positive change that comes from people coming together to serve has inspired me to give back to the community that shaped me. -

Why I Serve:
For me, serving the community is a great way to branch out and get to understand the experiences of others that may differ greatly from our own. When we serve, it provides a great opportunity for us to lift up others so that they may subsequently lift others up as well, enriching society as a whole. Engage Dallas is the ultimate embodiment of such service and provides a complex network which allows students to reach the community in all sorts of ways. I could not be more excited to see what my time at Engage Dallas will bring! -

I serve with Engage Dallas because this city shaped me, and giving back feels like both a responsibility and a privilege. Growing up in Dallas showed me how access, care, and intention can shift what people believe is possible for themselves. A big part of serving with Engage Dallas has been being able to volunteer during my free time and see the impact I can make in just a few hours. I love getting to meet new people and there is always someone willing to share great insight or bring light to a difficult situation. Engage Dallas is a great way to gain awareness about the issues Dallas residents face while also getting the opportunity to bond with the community. -
