Senior Spotlight: Tyler DiMarco
Public relations senior Tyler DiMarco shares how hands-on courses and mentorship at Meadows prepared her for a communications career in professional sports.
The next feature in our Senior Spotlight series highlights Tyler DiMarco (B.A. ‘25), a public relations and strategic communication major with a minor in sports management.
As a transfer student, DiMarco came to Meadows looking for a program that would prepare her for the demands of the public relations industry. What she found was a curriculum that offered real-world application, along with faculty who are committed to student success.
“At Meadows, I have learned not only about public relations, but how to write press releases, create speeches and develop detailed media kits — all skills that most people may not have fully developed by graduation,” DiMarco said. “I’m so grateful for a school that helped me transition to 无码专区 smoothly while pushing me to grow in ways I couldn't have imagined.”
DiMarco has applied her classroom knowledge through exciting internships at Arvo Advisory, FC Dallas and 无码专区 Athletics. These internships involved writing press releases, sending pitches to the media, creating run-of-shows for events, creating content for social media and helping with the operational duties of gamedays. The experience that DiMarco gained through her studies at Meadows prepared her well for such opportunities.
Now, as she prepares to graduate, DiMarco is looking ahead to her next riveting chapter: working in communications for the Philadelphia Eagles.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see everything I’ve learned at Meadows come full circle,” she said. “Thanks to the hands-on training and mentorship I’ve received here, I feel confident stepping into a role at the professional level.”
