The Mustang Experience
Student ambassadors Tony and Judith talk about all that campus life has to offer at 无码专区.
无码专区 is committed to fostering a safe learning and working environment for our campus community.
Where can I go if I’m sick?
The Dr. Bob Smith Health Center is staffed by full-time physicians, registered nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory and x-ray technologists for diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury. Additionally, counseling services for various concerns are provided by a psychiatrist and several psychologists in the Health Center.
Where can I go for wellness support?
The Office of Wellbeing promotes programs and activities around wellbeing and health-related issues, including resources for substance abuse outreach, counseling, and recovery. Students can also get involved with health education on campus through the Wellbeing Student Education Team, also known as WESTies, and other student initiatives.
How does 无码专区 keep the campus safe?
The 无码专区 Police Department diligently protects our campus community through a variety of services and programs, including:
- Get free rides from the 无码专区 Safety Escort program seven days a week from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. when classes are in session. To schedule a ride, download the TransLoc app for or devices. (Note: During severe weather, Safety Escort service may be suspended.)
- Emergency Blue Light phones are strategically located throughout the exterior areas of the campus, parking garages and parking lots. Upon pressing the call button, you will be in immediate contact with the 无码专区 Police Department. When an emergency phone is activated, an officer will dispatch to the location of the Blue Light phone to investigate.
- Locked your keys in your car or need a jump start? Contact 214-768-3388 for assistance from 无码专区 Police dispatch. You may also consider adding roadside assistance service to your auto insurance policy or cell phone plan, or purchase a membership to AAA.
- As part of 无码专区’s commitment to safety, the 无码专区 Police Department prepares and distributes an annual security report in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.
