Enrollment steps

For continuing students, enrollment begins on March 31 by enrollment appointment, based on earned hours.

Open enrollment begins at midnight April 19 for visiting students (non-degree), readmitted students and continuing non-degree students.

New undergraduate students (first-year and transfer) must complete the Pre-Advising Canvas Course (PACC), complete all health center requirements, including Meningitis A vaccination, and meet with an Academic Advisor before being eligible to enroll in courses.

The PACC access opens in mid-May for transfer students and in June for first-year students. Students can visit the Mustang StartUp page for more information.

  1. All undergraduate students must meet with an academic adviser prior to enrolling for assistance in planning majors and minors and scheduling courses that will count towards graduation requirements. Failure to meet with the academic adviser prior to enrolling may result in sanctions.
Note: Students have the final responsibility for the accuracy of their enrollment, the applicability of their courses toward their degree requirements, and their academic performance.
  2. Check your Student Dashboard on my.无码专区 for your enrollment appointment time and for any holds or tasks that need to be cleared before enrollment. Some financial holds may not be updated for 24 hours.
  3. Students must provide a home and local mailing address, cell number and/or home phone number, and an emergency contact. International students must provide a home, U.S. mailing and residence address. Missing information will result in a hold being placed. To update parent records, email records@smu.edu.
