Admissions criteria
Here's what we look for and require for each kind of transfer student.
Students who will transfer in 24 or more transferable hours to 无码专区, including veterans.
- Math requirement: Must have completed one of the following within the past three years: college algebra or a high school sequence of Algebra I, Algebra II, and Plane Geometry. 无码专区 recommends transfer students take all or some of the prerequisite courses for their intended major before transferring.
- Selection: The Admission Committee focuses on the rigor of college courses and readiness of a student's intended major, as well as GPA — those with at least a 2.70 transferable GPA are the most competitive for admission.
Students who have less than 24 transferable hours or have graduated from high school within the last calendar year. If it's been three or more years since your high school graduation, it's highly recommended that you acquire 30 or more transferable hours before transferring.
- Math requirement: Must have completed college algebra or a a college-level math course, unless algebra I, geometry and algebra II were taken in high school and graduation was less than three years ago — then the requirement is waived.
- Selection: The Admission Committee evaluates college course work, transferable GPA, high school curriculum and GPA, and standardized test scores, which need to be submitted directly from College Board or the ACT unless they are reported on your official high school transcript.

- If your high school transcript is not in English, it will need to be translated.
- Submit official TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test (DET) results if two college-level English courses have not been completed with a B or higher.
- We highly encourage an if English is not your first language, but it is not required.
Students who withdraw from the University in good standing can re-enroll within a year without reapplying. After two terms, they must request reactivation with a personal statement. Suspended students must request reinstatement and provide a statement detailing how they have addressed previous challenges. Get more information here.
